Friends of Tinker Nature Park

The Friends of Tinker Nature Park/Hansen Nature Center is a not-for-profit support group. They assist staff in attaining the goals of the Park and Nature Center. In 2019, in addition to our regular programming, our Friend's Group was able to support a new program! The Art & Garden Party at the Tinker Homestead was a rousing success and will be a regular celebration every June! Previous years generous support allowed the Nature Center to add a Kalamazoo Kind Carriage to the Tinker Homestead's Collection, a bird identification station for public use, and a collection of New York State bird's eggs. The Friends of TNP/HNC also sponsor several educational events including but not limited to Free Yoga, Earth Day, Harvest Festival, Halloween and our annual Holiday Celebration.
